Ron Smits is an artist/cartoonist. He was part of the Bayswater Road Artists and exhibited regularly at the world-famous Show on the Railings of Kensington Gardens. He earned his BFA at Camberwell School of Art, showed at the Serpentine and Acme galleries in London, and received numerous grants from The Arts Council of Great Britain and Greater London Arts. After emigrating to the United States, he shifted to a career in architectural lighting, earning several international design awards, and was also hired as an illustrator.
