Alison Cupp Relyea is a museum educator and freelance writer living in Rye, NY with her husband and three young children. Alison works at the Rye Historical Society and writes stories about history in addition to her own creative projects. She uses writing as a way to connect with others, exploring topics in family, culture, politics, history and everyday life, always with a thread of humor. Comedy was a big part of Alison's family when she was growing up, and she brings it into her family now as a parent because if we can't laugh, we'll cry.
