Sources close to Joe Jonas report that the beleaguered pop star, taking a break from heroically caring for his two children pretty much all the time, is concerned that people have gotten the wrong idea about estranged wife Sophie Turner.

“Joe never said she was a bad mom.  Never!  Sure, she likes to go out.  But it’s hard to be on your own one or two nights a week.  I mean, where are the overnight diapers?  Joe can’t be expected to know these things!  First of all, that’s the nanny’s job.  And second, he’s going over the lyrics for ‘Lovebug.’”

It is understood that earlier today, Joe endured an injury while cutting crusts off a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for his oldest child.  “But he shook it off, because that’s the kind of man he is,” shared an anonymous friend of the singer.  “Usually Sophie took care of stuff like that, but if he has to learn how to help his personal chef in the kitchen, then he’s doing it.”

Photos emerged this week of Sophie downing shots at a bar in Birmingham, England and smiling as if the former Game of Thrones star didn’t have a care in the world.  Said a witness, “It’s just crazy to me that the lead actor on a production would then support her crew and castmates at a wrap party, after she took a lengthy professional break, at the height of her fame, to have two kids.  And the kids were safe at home with their dad, as Sophie and Joe had agreed previously?  It’s obvious she’s a negligent mom.”

Sophie met Joe when she was 20, married him a year later, and became a mother at age 23.  “That’s more than enough time for her to have enjoyed a career and being young, beautiful, and famous,” muses Reddit user IWantMeATradWife.  “But now her place is really by her husband’s side, at all times, because all her needs are fulfilled now.  Wait, what am I saying?  She has no needs except taking care of her family!”

Famously, Joe and Sophie first met when he slid into her DMs; at the time, he was 27 to her 20.  “It’s only normal for a successful man to seek out a much younger woman.  That’s nature at work,” observed a man obliviously smoking his cigar outside a preschool.  “What’s not normal is for that younger woman to state repeatedly in interviews that she’s a homebody while he’s the social butterfly, and then occasionally take some time for herself.  That’s just fucked up.”

As everyone knows, the Jonas Brothers are currently on a world tour promoting their latest album.  An anonymous roadie on the tour shared, “The fans have always supported Joe through the years and continue to, even if the tour didn’t crack the top ten of the highest grossing live acts in 2023.  But Joe really needs to give this tour his all, without being distracted by their children.  You’d think Sophie would understand that, because he didn’t do so well as a solo act.”

After dropping off her kids at school, on her way to handle all the small crises and family demands that women around the world competently do every day, a middle aged mom of two remarked, “Retrograde misogyny from a pop star who once wore a promise ring?  Sounds about right.”
